Roof Repair with Improved Waterproofing
This project in Oostzaan was about replacing rotten fascia boards and fixing roof leaks. The goal was straightforward: stop the water issues and make sure the roof was solid and weatherproof again.
For this job, I worked together with Bouwbedrijf Mike Stommel. Working together with an experienced builder and carpenter like Mike, sharing knowledge and a laugh, makes even tough jobs better.
During the renovation, the ridge tiles were removed and a new waterproof layer was installed. Damaged roof tiles were replaced and carefully realigned. The old wooden fascia boards were swapped for a durable plastic alternative that needs very little maintenance. To finish things off, everything was neatly painted, giving the house a fresh and long-lasting result.
Working in both the Netherlands and Mallorca gives me the best of both worlds. The Dutch way of working, structured, direct, and hands-on, combined with experience in different conditions, helps me adapt easily to each project.
