Replacing an Interior Wall to Improve Acoustics

This project took place at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam and was carried out in collaboration with CDL (Cees de Lange Timmerwerken). The job involved removing an existing interior wall and replacing it with a new construction.

The original wall did not meet the required acoustic standards. In a busy terminal like this, sound matters. The new wall was therefore built with improved sound insulation, making the space more comfortable and functional for daily use.

Along with better acoustics, the wall was finished with a clean, high-quality finish that fits the look of the building. Working together with experienced builders and carpenters, and starting the day the Dutch way with good coffee and teamwork, made it a smooth and well-coordinated project.

Got a project in mind?

Whether it’s a commercial space or a private project, I’m happy to help fix, build, and improve spaces so they work better in everyday use.
