Custom Hardwood Bed Frame Build
This project in Artà was for a rental finca where the client wanted a strong and durable double bed, built directly on location. The aim was to create something solid that fits the rural style of the house and can handle daily use.
Before building could start, the right wood had to be found. As a carpenter, that often means visiting several suppliers in different villages. For this project, stores in and around Manacor were checked until the right hardwood beams were found. In Spain, sourcing materials can easily take a full day, but good wood makes all the difference.
Once everything was collected, the materials were loaded into the Nissan and trailer and transported to the site. That’s often the fastest way to keep a project moving.
The bed frame was then built on location from rough hardwood beams, carefully worked into a clean and sturdy construction. The result is a solid wooden bed that adds comfort and character to the finca and is made to last for many years.
