Custom Walk-In Closet in Porreres

This project in Porreres involved transforming a previously unused attic with a sloped roof into a spacious, functional walk-in closet.

Phase 1 focused on the largest and highest section, creating two shelving units and two hanging sections. The goal was to maximize the space while ensuring durability and quality finishes.

To start, a sturdy wooden frame was built, and recycled 9mm concrete plywood panels were chosen for their strength and sustainability, avoiding cheap chipboard.

After assembly, the panels were spray-painted in a soft light color, creating a clean, modern look. Dark wooden planks and decorative trim were added for contrast, bringing warmth and character to the space.

Heavy-duty metal pipes were used for the hanging sections, ensuring they could support plenty of weight. The shelves were prepped in the workshop, with careful cutting and a multi-layer finish to provide a smooth and durable surface.

The attic has truly been transformed into a practical and well-designed closet. Phase 3 will complete the project with the addition of a door to finalize the look.
